Calculate the available power in your waterfall

Fill in the height difference between your intake and turbine in meters in the upper field. Then fill in average run-off per square kilometre in liters/sec in the next field.In the third field you fill in your catchment area in square kilometres. Then press .Calculate. and see how much power you theoretically can get from your waterfall.Below this you can also calculate your approximate penstock diameter according to your project data.
